Welcome to the Royal Free Charity Rec Club leisure centre
The Rec Club is a leisure centre providing stimulating and affordable gym facilities, a mixture of classes, pool, studio and sports hall hire. Increasing the amount of physical activity we undertake helps to relieve stress and anxiety as well as improving our overall health. Our club enables everyone to benefit from access to a pool, classes and the gym at an affordable rate while helping the Royal Free Charity to support patients and staff at our three hospitals.
We are excited to announce that the swimming pool has reopened for both adult swimmers and the public!
All non-members will need a current pay-as-you-go (PAYG) membership (which is free) to enter the club for swimming sessions and to use the showers. Please note that the hairdryers and showers in the men’s changing room are currently out of order. We hope to rectify this as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.

If you’re looking for a quiet swimming pool for regular swimming at your own pace, we have the perfect pool for you to feel comfortable and confident.
NHS discounts
Whether you’re a clinician, support or admin worker, all NHS employees are eligible for discounts at the Royal Free Charity Rec Club.
